FEDERAL LINKS

 

Visit the IRS Home Page to find everything (& more) you need to know about taxes.  Individual taxpayers can call 1-800-829-1040 during the tax season weekdays from 7 am to 10 pm or on Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm.  There is also a 24-hour recorded assistance line for your convenience.  Business taxpayers can call the Business and Specialty Tax Line at 1-800-829-4933.

 

Track Your IRS Refund

    ¨ Track down your federal refund with the IRS at the Where's my Refund? page or call the IRS Refund Hotline at toll free 1-800-829-4477.  The IRS usually needs 4 - 6 weeks to send out refunds (3 weeks for e-file).

    

Make your IRS Payments

    ¨ Pay all your Federal taxes (& estimated payments) electronically at www.eftps.gov for free

       - or -

    ¨ Pay Federal or State taxes (& estimated payments) by credit card a

            www.officialpayments.com for a 2.5% fee of the payment amount

To learn the status of your NY State tax refund, please call 1-800-443-3200, electronic filers call 1-800-353-0708.  If you have problems with your direct deposit call 1-800-321-3213.
